We’re a small club but consistently punch above our weight.  At SMAC’s Tittesworth Summer Series Mark Dalkins won the race in 27:04, followed by Gareth Knapper in 9th (29:52) and a total of 14 runners for the club.  In the Potters Arf, Gareth Knapper brought the club home in 1:27:35.  Rebecca Harrison came 6th in the ladies race and 2nd F35 in 1:32:58.

At the Showground Relays on 13th June, our ladies teams came 2nd and 4th in their categories.  A total of 8 teams took part with some brilliant efforts and impressive times.  We then retired to The Huntsman for refreshments and chip butties as part of a great team social evening.

Members of Cheadle Running Club recently volunteered at Hanley ParkRun #333 in cold, wet conditions.  The volunteers helped with directing, marshalling, timekeeping and managing tokens to the 351 runners on the day, including our own tail runner.  Thank you to all who helped out.

Don’t forget to enter the Cheadle Spring 5 which takes place on Sunday 4th March
